Year 6 Poetry Writing With Neal Zetter!

On Tuesday 24th January, a group of Year Six pupils went to Kensington Library for a fun day of poetry writing. The children spent the day working closely with poet and author, Neal Zetter.

He encouraged all the budding writers to ‘think outside the box’ and create new and unusual ways of describing everyday things in their poems. The children performed their creations at the end of the workshop; an opportunity to show off their newly developed writing skills. Here are some of the poems written by the children…
