Amazing African Masks in Year 2

In Year 2 we looked at African masks. We learnt that African societies make wooden masks for religious and cultural ceremonies. We looked at their beautiful colours, patterns and designs.

We then created our own African masks with paints and craft materials; pipe cleaners, stickers and wool.  We also used tissue paper and glue to add texture to our masks.
